Hunting Questions
We have 12, 20, 28 and 410 gauge shotgun shells. We recommend you contact us with your preference of gun type and gauge of shells you would like to use so we may check availability. We use RD and Active shells, number 7.5 shot.
Yes, you can. If you're planning to bring a semi-automatic shotgun, you'll need to contact your local Argentine Consulate to obtain a gun entry permit in advance. For Over & Under shotguns, no permit is required — but we still recommend checking with us before your trip.
If you wish to bring your own guns, you are allowed to bring 3 guns per person to Argentina for hunting purposes.
No. You are not permitted to bring shotgun shells into Argentina.
If you wish to bring your own semi automatic guns, please contact your local Argentine Consulate to obtain a gun entry permit. If you wish to bring an Over & Under shotgun, you do not need a permit. But please check with us about bringing guns into Argentina before your trip. The fee to enter each gun into Argentina is $140 to be paid at the airport. If you come through Buenos Aires, this procedure requires a licensed person to do the paperwork and it has a cost of $500 (gun entry and gun exit). If you come to Cordoba directly, we do this procedure with no extra cost. In both cases, we do need to have all the information of each gun you are bringing, to prepare the gun paperwork in advance. Keep in mind that sometimes the waiting time to register your guns at the different airports, can take easily 45 minutes, so pay attention to the connections with your flights.
Dove hunting is available all year round, but the most popular months are March through September. Pigeon hunting is seasonal — ask us about ideal timing.
We recommend clothing in earth tones like brown, olive, or camo. Bring layers depending on the season — lightweight dry-fit shirts in summer, and fleece or jackets for fall and winter. A cap, sun protection, and insect repellent are essential. Sturdy outdoor shoes (not sneakers) are a must. Avoid bright colors, and dress for comfort and safety in rural terrain.
Lodge Questions
Yes, the lodge has WiFi and basic mobile reception. While signal strength may vary depending on your provider, you'll be able to stay connected if needed.
Comfort is key. Casual, weather-appropriate clothing works best — think layers for cooler nights and relaxed gear for lounging after the hunt.
The lodge runs on standard Argentine voltage (220V). If you’re bringing US appliances, be sure to bring a voltage converter or check for dual voltage devices
Our lodge is fully equipped for comfort and relaxation. You’ll enjoy private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, daily housekeeping, an open bar, cozy common areas, outdoor fire pit, WiFi, and satellite TV — everything you need to unwind after a great day in the field.
Trip and General Questions
Most travelers from the U.S., Canada, and Europe do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Still, we recommend checking with your local consulate for the most up-to-date travel requirements.
Tips are not included in the package price. While not mandatory, they are greatly appreciated by guides, assistants, and lodge staff.
Córdoba has a temperate climate with hot summers and cool winters. March to September tends to be dry and mild — perfect for hunting. We’ll send packing tips based on your travel dates.

Argentina uses the Argentine peso, but we accept U.S. dollars for all hunting-related costs. Cash is preferred for tips and incidentals.
You can fly directly into Córdoba International Airport (COR) from major hubs like Buenos Aires or Santiago (Chile). We’ll help coordinate your best route.
One of our team members will be waiting to greet you at the airport and escort you to the lodge. Look for the Marcelo Miranda Outfitters sign.
